Hey everyone, I'm working in field operations and it feels like every request for new equipment or even routine maintenance is getting scrutinized with a microscope. We're being asked to push existing gear to its absolute limit, and I'm worried about potential breakdowns or safety issues down the line. Budgets seem really tight across the board for operational expenditures. Is anyone else experiencing this? Are they pushing back on capital expenditure requests too? Feels like a cost-cutting push is definitely on, even if there's no official word on layoffs. Curious to hear if this is a widespread trend at SLB right now.
