Schlumberger - Is the internal job board suddenly way less active?

Been keeping an eye on internal openings for a while now, looking for a potential move internally. Lately, it feels like the number of postings has significantly dropped off. And the ones that are up seem to sit there for ages without getting filled. Is anyone else noticing this? It used to be a pretty steady stream of opportunities, even if they were competitive. Now it's like tumbleweeds. Makes me question if internal mobility is being de-prioritized, or if they're just not backfilling roles effectively. Curious to hear if others are seeing the same thing across different departments.

Yeah, I've noticed the same thing on the internal board. It definitely feels like there are fewer postings than there used to be, and the ones that are up are lingering. It's a bit concerning when you're trying to plan a career move within the company. Makes you wonder about the hiring freeze rumors or if there's just a general slowdown in internal transfers. Hope it picks up soon, or at least that there's some communication about why things have changed.

I can confirm that observation. The internal job board activity has been noticeably slower for me as well over the past few months. Fewer new roles appearing, and the ones that do seem to stick around for quite a while. I was hoping to explore some internal growth opportunities, but the current landscape is making that a bit more challenging. Maybe it's a sign of restructuring or a shift in hiring focus. Either way, it's a bit demotivating.
