SLB - Anyone else feeling the pressure to 'do more with less'?

It feels like the mantra around here lately. Resources are tight, budgets are being scrutinized like never before, and the expectation is that we all just absorb the extra workload. I'm not hearing about any mass layoffs, thankfully, but the 'quiet squeeze' is definitely real. Project scopes seem to be shrinking, travel budgets are slashed, and there's a general sense of belt-tightening everywhere you look. It makes planning and execution really challenging when you're constantly being asked to do more with less. Anyone else in a similar boat? What strategies are your teams using to cope? Are you seeing this trickle down to compensation or performance reviews as well? Just trying to gauge if this is a widespread SLB thing or if I'm in a particularly squeezed corner of the company.

Yeah, the 'do more with less' vibe is palpable. Seems like every department is under the microscope for cost-saving, and it trickles down to the boots on the ground. We're expected to hit the same targets with fewer resources, which inevitably means longer hours and more stress. Just trying to stay focused and get through it, but it's definitely not easy out there.

Totally feel you on this. The pressure to optimize and cut is intense. It feels like a constant balancing act between delivering quality work and managing stretched resources. Makes you wonder about long-term sustainability when the focus is so heavily on immediate efficiency gains. Hoping things stabilize soon, but for now, it's all about grit and adaptation.
