SLB - Anyone else getting hit with more 'unofficial' duties?

0x28dd…0833Lately, it feels like there's this creeping expectation to take on tasks that are definitely outside our original job descriptions, and not in a way that feels like development. It's more like gaps are being filled because people are gone or headcount is frozen. My manager is kind of dancing around it, but the reality is my plate is overflowing with stuff that isn't core to my role and isn't getting any official recognition. Anyone else seeing this? Feels like a way to stretch resources thin without actually admitting it. Makes it hard to focus on the actual job I was hired to do, and definitely not boosting morale when you're constantly firefighting things that aren't your responsibility. Wondering if this is a broader trend or just my specific group.
