SLB - Anyone else seeing a hiring freeze / budget cuts?

Hey everyone, been with Schlumberger for a few years now in the field operations side. Lately, things have felt… off. Budget requests are getting scrutinized way more than usual, and I've heard from a couple of managers that new hires are on hold indefinitely. Projects that would normally get the green light are being deferred. It's not just my group either, I've chatted with people in other departments and they're seeing similar things. Makes you wonder what's going on behind the scenes. Anyone else experiencing this or have any insights into what might be driving these tighter controls? Trying to get a sense if this is widespread or just specific to my region/division. Feels like a precursor to something, and not necessarily a positive one.
