Just got my performance bonus for last year and honestly, I was expecting a bit more given the performance targets we hit. Anyone else in a similar boat? Feels like the numbers just aren't adding up compared to previous years, even though management keeps talking about how well the company is doing. We've been pushing hard, hitting project deadlines, and keeping utilization up on the main assets. Is this just my department, or are others seeing a similar dip in their PMP payouts? Getting a little worried about what this might signal long-term if they're tightening the purse strings on performance compensation. Curious to hear if anyone has had conversations with their managers about this or has any insights into the bonus calculation structure for this cycle. Feels like we're doing the work, but the reward isn't quite matching up.

Yeah, I'm seeing something similar. The rhetoric about strong performance is there, but the bonus payout definitely didn't reflect that in my case. It's a bit disheartening when you feel like you've gone above and beyond, only to receive a number that feels... underwhelming. I've been trying to reconcile it with the company's reported success, but it's a tough puzzle to solve. Same here. Thought I crushed my PMP targets last cycle and was expecting a substantial bonus, but what landed in the account was a fraction of what I'd anticipated based on past years and the effort put in. It's frustrating to feel like your hard work isn't being fully recognized financially, especially when the company seems to be doing well overall. Hoping it's an anomaly and not a new trend for payouts.
