Well, it happened. Just got the email to meet with HR. Done. After 7 years. Seven years of giving this company my all, and this is how they repay me? I was a Senior Consultant. I'm beyond pissed. No warning, no performance issues, nothing. Just 'restructuring.' This is such BS. They're blaming it on the economy, but the CEO is still making millions! Where's the accountability there? Seriously considering legal action. I'm so tired of corporate greed and how they treat employees like disposable cogs. Time to update the resume, I guess. F*** ServiceNow.

I hear you. That sucks big time. Seven years is a long haul. "Restructuring" is corporate speak for 'we want to save money and don't care who gets hurt.' Definitely look into your options. Even if you don't sue, a lawyer can review your severance package and make sure you're getting what you're owed. Don't sign anything without having someone look at it first. And seriously, take some time for yourself before jumping back into the job hunt. You deserve it.

Honestly, 'no warning' layoffs are pretty standard practice these days. Companies prioritize their bottom line. While I sympathize, legal action might be a tough road unless you have solid evidence of discrimination or a breach of contract. Focus on what you *can* control: updating your resume, networking, and hitting LinkedIn hard. There's still demand for ServiceNow consultants, so try not to let this knock you down for too long. Best of luck.
