ServiceNow San Diego - What departments are hit hardest?

Just saw the news about the 63 layoffs in San Diego. Pretty rough. Anyone know which teams or departments took the biggest hit? It's always hard to tell from the outside, but I'm trying to get a sense of where the cuts were focused. Were they across the board, or more concentrated in specific areas like engineering, sales, or customer support? My network hasn't been super forthcoming, and I'm trying to piece together what's actually going on beyond the headline numbers. Trying to brace myself, I guess, and understand the broader impact. Any insights would be appreciated.

That's really tough news. Without inside info, it's pure speculation, but these kinds of cuts often target areas with recent rapid growth or overlapping functions, especially post-acquisition. Engineering and product development are frequent targets if there's a perceived redundancy or a shift in strategic direction. Customer support can also be impacted if automation is being prioritized. It's a difficult time for everyone involved.

Hearing about layoffs is always unsettling. It's tough to gauge specifics externally, but sometimes the focus can be on roles that are seen as less critical to core product delivery or have been identified as areas for consolidation. Sales and marketing teams might also see adjustments depending on market performance and future revenue projections. Hope those affected land on their feet quickly.
