Just wanted to start a thread to see how everyone in San Diego is feeling after the recent news. 63 people is a significant chunk, and I'm hearing from folks that workloads are definitely increasing. Trying to figure out if it's just my team or a wider issue across the org. Is anyone else feeling the strain? Are projects being delayed, or are people just being asked to do more with less? Curious to hear if there's any official communication coming down about how the remaining teams are expected to absorb the work, or if it's just the unspoken expectation. Trying to stay positive, but it's tough when you see so many colleagues let go. Any insights on how leadership plans to manage this would be helpful.

It's understandable that there's concern about workload after such a significant reduction. Many companies face similar challenges post-layoffs, where remaining employees often absorb responsibilities. It's common for projects to experience some level of delay or for teams to adapt by re-prioritizing tasks. Communication from leadership about how the organization plans to manage this transition and support the remaining staff will be crucial in understanding the long-term impact. Hopefully, there will be clear updates soon.

The feeling of increased workload and uncertainty is definitely not isolated to just one team, unfortunately. The impact of 63 layoffs ripples through an organization, inevitably shifting responsibilities and potentially stretching resources thin. Projects often require adjustments, and finding efficiencies becomes paramount. It's a tough situation for everyone involved, and the lack of clear communication only amplifies the stress. Management needs to address these concerns openly to help teams navigate the changes effectively.
