Been here a while and things have felt... off lately. Budgets seem tighter, project scopes are getting reined in, and there's this general sense of 'wait and see' across departments. It's not just my team either; I've heard similar whispers from folks in other orgs. Hiring definitely seems to have slowed to a crawl, and some open reqs have been sitting for ages without much movement.
