So, I've been hearing some chatter that certain departments at Skyworks have put a pause on new hires. It's not official, naturally, but a couple of my friends in different divisions mentioned it. One said their manager explicitly told them they can't backfill a recently vacated position, even though the workload hasn't decreased. Another mentioned a hiring requisition they were expecting to open has been mysteriously delayed indefinitely. This is happening right after the performance review cycle, which feels a bit... coincidental? It's definitely fueling some speculation. Has anyone else encountered this or heard similar things? Feels like a classic precursor to something bigger, and frankly, it's making a lot of people anxious.
