Anyone else feeling the squeeze at Snowflake? 'Adjustments' seem real.

Just saw the HN post about 'targeted adjustments.' Honestly, it feels like a polite way of saying layoffs are happening, or at least are imminent. My team has been under a lot of pressure lately, projects are being re-prioritized like crazy, and there's definitely an air of uncertainty. Nobody's saying anything concrete, but you can feel it. Been here a couple of years and this is the first time it feels like things are really shifting in a negative direction. Anyone else experiencing this? What's the vibe on your floor? Trying to get a sense if this is company-wide or just specific departments feeling the heat. Trying not to panic, but it's hard when leadership uses vague language.

Yeah, I'm definitely feeling it too. The 're-prioritization' feels more like scrambling. My workload has been unpredictable, and there's a lot of hushed talk around the digital water cooler. It's a strange vibe – everyone's trying to stay positive, but the undercurrent of anxiety is hard to ignore. Makes you wonder what's really going on behind the scenes.

Reading that HN post confirmed some of my own unease. The 'adjustments' language is certainly corporate-speak for something significant. My team's been stretched thin, and the constant churn in project scope is exhausting. There's a noticeable tension and a lack of clear communication, which only amplifies the uncertainty. Definitely not the same atmosphere as a year ago.
