Anyone else feeling uneasy at Snowflake lately?

I've been at Snowflake for almost 3 years now, on the Sales Engineering team. Things have been... weird lately. The overall vibe is off. I'm hearing whispers of budget cuts and 'strategic realignments' which, let's be honest, usually means layoffs. My skip-level has been unusually quiet during our 1:1s, and that's not like him. Anyone else picking up on this? Or am I just being paranoid? I'm starting to dust off my resume just in case. Better safe than sorry, right?

You're not alone. I'm in a different department but experiencing the same unsettling feeling. The constant push for 'efficiency' and the sudden halt on several projects definitely has me worried. It's always wise to prepare, so updating your resume is a smart move. Best of luck to you!

Honestly, this sounds like typical Big Tech paranoia. Snowflake has been growing like crazy. There's always going to be adjustments. Sales Engineering is usually pretty safe, especially with your experience. I wouldn't jump to conclusions, but keeping your options open never hurts. Maybe just try to ignore the noise and focus on your work.
