S&P Global - Anyone else feeling the jitters?

Hey everyone, Just wanted to see if I'm alone in this or if others at S&P Global are also feeling a bit uneasy lately. Haven't seen any official announcements or big news about layoffs, but there's definitely a weird vibe in some departments. Heard whispers about budget reviews and "efficiency drives" which usually isn't great news. Been here a few years and things have always felt pretty stable, but the market's been rough and I know we're a big company. Has anyone noticed any changes in hiring freezes, project cancellations, or just general chatter that seems to point towards something brewing? Curious to hear if anyone has any concrete info or just similar feelings. Trying not to spiral but it's hard not to overthink.

I've picked up on some of that too, though I haven't heard anything concrete. It's easy to let the whispers get to you, especially when the market news is so bleak. I try to focus on my work and stay positive, but yeah, there's a definite undercurrent of 'what if' right now. Hopefully, it's just noise and we'll see things stabilize soon.

Interesting you mention that. I've been in a different division, and things feel relatively normal here, but that doesn't mean it isn't happening elsewhere. The 'efficiency drives' definitely raise an eyebrow. It's always a bit unsettling when those terms start circulating. Just keeping my head down and hoping for the best.
