S&P Global - Management talking in circles?

Been at SPGI for a few years now, and lately, it feels like there's a lot of talk but not much concrete action. Heard some whispers about 'efficiency gains' and 'strategic realignments' in all-hands meetings, but it all sounds pretty vague. No official layoff announcements, thankfully, but the general vibe is a bit uncertain. Anyone else picking up on this? It's hard to focus on projects when you're constantly wondering if your team or role is next on the chopping block. Just trying to gauge if this is a widespread feeling or if I'm just overthinking things. Feels like a lot of 'managing expectations' without any real transparency. Curious to hear if others are seeing similar messaging and what their take is.

I've been with SPGI for a while too and definitely sense a shift. The constant buzzwords about efficiency and realignment without clear outcomes are making people antsy. It's tough to maintain momentum when there's this underlying hum of uncertainty. Hopefully, management will provide more transparency soon, as the current ambiguity is impacting morale and productivity across teams. It's a delicate balance to strike between driving change and reassuring the workforce.
