Hey everyone, been at Spotify for about 4 years now, on the backend engineering side for podcasting tools. Lately, things have felt… off. My manager is being cagey about Q3 roadmaps and there have been a few unscheduled all-hands meetings for my department that didn't really say much. No official word on layoffs, but the vibe is definitely tense. People are whispering, and I've seen a couple of senior engineers polishing their LinkedIn profiles. Just wondering if anyone else is picking up on similar vibes, especially in the tech side of things? Is it just my team, or is there something bigger brewing that hasn't been announced yet? Trying not to spiral, but it's hard when the silence is so loud.
