I hear you. I was on a similar team at a different company, and the constant pressure to innovate burned me out fast. It's tough when your passion gets overshadowed by metrics and deadlines. Maybe it's time to start looking for roles where you can focus on the music itself, not just the algorithm that delivers it.
Three years is a long time to be grinding. Are you sure it's Spotify specifically and not just the nature of working in tech? Every big company has pressure, deadlines, and metrics. Maybe take a vacation and then re-evaluate. Or, start looking at other companies now to see if there's anything that sparks your interest.
