Stripe severance / outplacement services any good?

Hey everyone, seeing a lot of chatter on HN and here about potential layoffs at Stripe, though nothing confirmed yet. Has anyone here actually been through a layoff at Stripe, or know someone who has? Curious about the severance packages and any outplacement services they offer. Heard some companies really go above and beyond, and others... not so much. Trying to get a sense of what to expect if the worst happens. Not trying to be alarmist, just prudent. Any info on PTO payout, bonus structure for those affected, and what the actual support looks like would be super helpful. Thanks.

I haven't personally experienced a layoff at Stripe, but I've heard from former colleagues at other tech companies that good outplacement services can genuinely make a difference. They often provide resume workshops, interview coaching, and networking opportunities that can speed up your job search significantly. It's definitely worth inquiring about the specifics if the situation arises. Hopefully, it's just speculation, but being prepared is always wise.
