Anyone else heard whispers about June 8th?

Okay, so I'm in the Bellevue office, been with T-Mobile for 7 years in the network engineering group. Lately, things have been... weird. My manager's been super vague in our 1:1s, and there's been a lot of closed-door meetings with the VPs that I've never seen before. I overheard someone in the break room mentioning June 8th as a potential date for 'restructuring.' Anyone else hearing anything similar? I'm trying not to panic, but the vibes are definitely off. I'm starting to update my resume just in case. This is unsettling. I'm just trying to get ahead of it all.

Yeah, I've heard similar rumblings, though my source isn't as solid as yours being in Bellevue. My friend in retail mentioned store managers are being extra scrutinized lately on metrics they usually gloss over. June 8th sounds about right for end-of-quarter adjustments. Definitely update that resume, but don't jump ship prematurely. Sometimes these 'restructurings' are just reshuffling. Could be an opportunity for you too!

Honestly, take everything you hear with a massive grain of salt. Been through 'restructurings' before and 90% of the rumors are just people gossiping and panicking. Closed-door meetings are par for the course in any large corporation. VPs probably just finalized the Q3 marketing plan. Focus on your work, document your achievements, and don't get caught up in the drama. If it happens, it happens. You can't control it anyway.
