Rant: I'm so tired of the constant re-orgs

Seriously, how many times can they restructure the marketing department? I've been through like 4 re-orgs in the last 3 years. Every time, they promise it's going to 'streamline processes' and 'improve efficiency,' but all it does is create more confusion and anxiety. This time, rumors of layoffs are circulating again, and honestly, I'm just emotionally exhausted. I put in the effort, and have good performance reviews. It's like they don't care about the people who actually make this company work. I'm starting to think it's time to jump ship before they push me.

I feel you. Been there, done that. Re-orgs are often more about optics and cost-cutting than actual improvement. Document everything you do, keep a record of your accomplishments, and update your resume. It's always good to be prepared, even if you're hoping to stay. Knowing your worth and having options can ease the anxiety a bit.

Yeah, the constant change is draining. Honestly, I've seen a similar pattern at other large companies. Executives get restless and want to leave their mark, regardless of the impact on employees. Try to focus on what you *can* control – your performance, your team relationships, and your own well-being. Easier said than done, I know, but dwelling on the uncertainty only makes it worse.
