Totally get it. I was in the same boat last year. The 'efficiency improvements' are just a way to squeeze more out of us. Start documenting EVERYTHING you do in a day. Literally, log every task and how long it takes. When they inevitably ask why something isn't done, you'll have concrete proof of your workload. It's a pain, but it protects you and might make them rethink things when they see the reality.
Heard. Honestly, retail is a revolving door. If you're already thinking about leaving, start looking now. There are other places that value their employees, or at least pay more to deal with the same BS. Don't let them grind you down. Your mental health is worth more than whatever discount you get. Good luck with the resume dusting!
