Sterling Heights closure details - anyone left standing?

Saw the WARN notices pop up for the Sterling Heights facility. It’s always the same story—a quiet Friday afternoon email followed by a locked badge and a security escort. I was there during the 2019 shifts and the atmosphere in the office just never recovered. It feels like they’re slowly chipping away at the corporate side of the house while shifting everything toward lean logistics models. For those of you still in the office, how are the spirits holding up? Is it basically a ghost town in there now, or are they trying to maintain the 'team member' facade? I know a few people who were caught in this round and it sounds like the severance package is pretty standard, nothing to write home about. Really curious if anyone has heard whispers about more locations getting the same treatment before the end of the quarter. It’s hard to keep putting in 110% when you’re constantly checking the portal for new filings.

It is getting rough in there. The morale is pretty much nonexistent at this point. People are spending more time updating their resumes and chatting in private groups than actually getting work done. Everyone knows we are just numbers on a spreadsheet for corporate now, and the constant threat of these 'lean models' feels like a slow-motion layoff that never really ends. Honestly, the ghost town vibe is accurate; half the desks are empty, and the ones that are occupied are filled with people just waiting for the other shoe to drop.

I remember those 2019 cuts well. It is a predictable cycle at this point, isn't it? Corporate loves to talk about 'restructuring' and 'efficiency' while the folks on the ground deal with the fallout of the sudden closures. It is disheartening to see the culture erode like this, but at the same time, nobody should be surprised anymore. If you have been there for a while, you know the drill—keep your head down, save your money, and have an exit strategy ready. Loyalty to this company is a one-way street that only goes downhill.
