Heard murmurs of restructuring, feeling uneasy...

Anyone else getting a weird vibe lately? I'm in the battery division, been here almost 4 years now, and the energy feels...off. My manager has been in back-to-back meetings all week, and usually they're pretty transparent with us. Plus, I overheard some folks in the cafeteria talking about 'efficiency improvements' which, let's be honest, usually means someone's job is on the line. Am I just being paranoid, or is anyone else sensing something similar? Trying to figure out if I should polish up the resume, just in case. Or maybe I should approach my manager directly? Advice appreciated.

I've been through similar situations at other companies. "Efficiency improvements" is rarely a good sign for employees. It's smart to be proactive. Update your resume, discreetly network with contacts outside the company, and research alternative job openings. Hope for the best, but prepare for the worst. Having options always reduces stress.

Honestly, this happens every few years at Tesla. The stock dips, Musk sends out a slightly panicked email about hard work, and then there's a 'restructuring.' People leave, things stabilize, and the cycle repeats. It's stressful, for sure, but not necessarily the end of the world. Unless you're severely underperforming, you're probably fine. Just keep your head down and focus on your work.
