Morale hit rock bottom - any other departments feeling this?

Been at Tesla for a few years now, in engineering. Lately, it feels like the atmosphere has completely shifted. We've lost a lot of good people, some to other companies, some just... gone. The 'restructuring' rumors are constant, but nobody seems to know anything concrete. My manager is doing their best, but you can tell they're stressed too. It's hard to stay motivated when you feel like you're constantly looking over your shoulder or that your work isn't valued. We used to have such a strong sense of mission, but now it feels more like just trying to survive the next announcement. Anyone else in a similar boat? Is it just my department or is this widespread?

Yeah, the engineering department has been feeling it too. It's a weird vibe lately, a lot of uncertainty floating around. It's tough when you don't know what's coming next, and seeing good people leave definitely impacts morale. Management seems to be in the dark as much as we are, which doesn't help. Just trying to focus on the work but it's hard when there's so much chatter.

I hear you. The constant restructuring talk is exhausting, and it definitely creates an anxious environment. It's a shame because the work itself can be really rewarding, but the instability makes it hard to feel secure or even excited about the future. Hopefully, things will settle down soon and we can get back to a more positive atmosphere.
