Just heard some chatter through the grapevine about a potential slowdown in H1B transfers and even internal mobility at TI. This aligns with some of the budget tightening I've been hearing about. Normally, folks can move around fairly easily if they find a new role, but it seems like approvals are getting tougher and taking way longer. Also wondering if this might be a precursor to something else down the line, given the broader semiconductor market trends. Has anyone else encountered difficulties with internal transfers or heard anything concrete about H1B hiring/transfers being put on hold? Trying to get a clearer picture beyond the whispers.

Yeah, I've definitely noticed the internal transfer process dragging more than usual lately. It used to be pretty straightforward if you had a hiring manager and HR on board, but now it feels like a lot more layers of approval are involved, and things just sit in limbo for ages. It's frustrating when you're trying to grow your career within the company and hit these bureaucratic roadblocks. Makes you wonder if they're trying to discourage movement or just severely understaffed in the HR/recruiting departments managing these processes.
