Internal transfers drying up?

I've been trying to make an internal move for a while now, and it’s been surprisingly tough. Usually, TI has pretty good internal mobility, but lately, it feels like doors are shut. My recruiter contact mentioned that openings are fewer and that managers are being super selective, possibly due to budget reviews or upcoming performance cycles. It's making me a bit anxious, honestly. I've heard some chatter about H1B holders facing delays or more scrutiny too, which might be impacting team structures and hiring plans. Just wanted to see if others are experiencing similar issues with internal transfers or seeing any impact on visa holder positions.
