TI Layoff Rumors - Anyone else hearing whispers?

Hey everyone, been seeing some chatter online and hearing some low-level buzz about potential layoffs at TI. Nothing concrete, no official announcements or anything, but the market's been rough for semis lately and the H-1B article that popped up recently got me thinking. Just wondering if anyone else has picked up on anything? Is it just general industry anxiety or is there something more specific to TI that people are seeing? My team hasn't gotten any direct comms, but you know how it is, things can change fast. Trying to stay ahead of the curve if possible. Anyone in different divisions or locations experiencing anything unusual, like hiring freezes, project cancellations, or just general 'belt-tightening' vibes? Would appreciate any insights, even if it's just speculative. Trying to gauge the general sentiment. Thanks in advance.

I've been keeping an eye on the semiconductor sector too, and it's definitely a turbulent time. While I haven't heard any specific rumors about TI layoffs directly, it's not entirely surprising given the broader market conditions. The H-1B article is a valid point of concern for many in tech right now. Hopefully, it's just industry-wide jitters, but I understand the anxiety. It's always better to be prepared and informed, even if it's just speculation.

Haven't picked up on any concrete layoff talk at TI myself. My immediate circle hasn't mentioned anything, and we're usually pretty good at hearing the unofficial word. It's true the market's been a bit shaky for chip manufacturers lately, so I can see why people are getting nervous. Could just be the general uncertainty spreading through the industry. Let's hope for the best and that our teams remain unaffected.
