Hang in there. It's tough when the rumor mill starts churning, especially when your manager is being less than transparent. I'm in a different division, but we've had some reorg whispers too. My advice? Keep your head down, focus on delivering excellent work, and document your accomplishments. Also, it never hurts to refresh that resume and keep an eye on the market, just in case. Better to be prepared than blindsided.
Honestly, I think you might be overthinking this. TI is a huge company, and there's always some level of chatter about headcount. Losing a couple of junior folks sounds like pretty standard turnover, especially in a competitive field like IC design. Unless you're seeing actual, direct communication about layoffs or hearing from multiple reliable sources, I'd try not to stress too much. Focus on your projects and what you can control.
