Anyone hearing anything about Textron layoffs?

Been at Textron Bell for about 5 years now. Recently, there's been a lot of buzz about potential workforce reductions. I haven't seen any official announcements, but several colleagues have mentioned hearing rumors from sources they trust, especially in manufacturing and some support functions. It's hard to tell what's just office gossip and what might have some substance. We've had some big program wins recently, but also some older contracts winding down. Wondering if anyone has received any WARN notices or has heard anything more specific from their managers or HR. Trying to prepare myself mentally and financially just in case. If there are any confirmed reports or even strong indicators, please share. Thanks.

I work in a different division of Textron, and while we haven't had any direct announcements about layoffs, there's definitely a sense of uncertainty in the air. Budgets feel tighter, and some projects are definitely being re-evaluated. It's not panic mode by any stretch, but the whispers you're hearing are probably not entirely unfounded. Companies often adjust their workforce based on market conditions and contract cycles, so it wouldn't be surprising if some areas are feeling the pressure.

Heard similar rumblings myself, though not specifically about Bell. It's always a tense time when these rumors start circulating. The industry can be quite cyclical, and Textron, being a large conglomerate, is always balancing new opportunities with existing business. Hopefully, any adjustments are managed with transparency and consideration for those affected. Keeping an eye on industry news and internal communications is probably the best approach right now.
