Textron - Concerned about workload vs. headcount

Management keeps talking about efficiency and streamlining, which is fine, but the actual workload on the ground seems to be increasing. It feels like we're being asked to do more with less, and honestly, it’s starting to feel unsustainable. While there haven't been any official announcements about layoffs, I can't shake the feeling that a 'right-sizing' might be on the horizon. We've seen a few key people leave voluntarily in recent months, and they haven't been replaced with the same level of expertise. Is anyone else feeling this crunch? It's making it hard to stay motivated when you're constantly worried about your team's stability and your own future. Any insights from other departments or sites would be appreciated.

I'm feeling this too. The 'efficiency' push feels more like a headcount reduction in disguise. It's frustrating because the quality of work suffers when people are spread too thin. Morale is definitely taking a hit, and it's hard to stay motivated when you're constantly battling an impossible workload. Hoping management actually listens to these concerns before things get worse.

Definitely hearing a lot of chatter about this. The voluntary departures are concerning, and the lack of backfilling is a clear signal. While I understand the need for fiscal responsibility, this constant pressure without adequate resources is a recipe for burnout.
