Textron Aviation - Anyone else feeling the unease?

Hey everyone. Been at Textron Aviation for a few years now, and lately, the vibe has been a bit… off. We haven't had any official announcements or anything concrete, but there's definitely a chatter going around. Been hearing whispers about restructuring, project delays, and general belt-tightening. My team's workload has been inconsistent, and I've noticed a few key people leaving recently, though not in a mass exodus. Anyone else in different departments picking up on similar signals? Trying to gauge if this is just my specific area or a broader company trend. Feels like a good time to dust off the resume and keep an eye on things, but hoping for the best. Curious to hear if others are seeing/feeling the same.

I hear you. I'm in a different division but have felt that same undercurrent of uncertainty lately. It's subtle, not a full-blown panic, but enough to make you pause. Project timelines feel a bit fluid, and there's been a noticeable increase in conversations around efficiency and resource optimization. It's hard to shake the feeling that something's shifting, even without official word. Just trying to focus on my work and stay informed.

Definitely picking up on some of the same things. My department has also seen some surprising departures over the last few months, and the 'why' isn't always clear. It's creating a bit of instability, and the workload has definitely been unpredictable. I'm hoping it's just a natural cycle or a response to market conditions, but the general unease is palpable across different teams.
