Thinking of accepting Textron offer - what's the layoff risk?

Got a good offer from Textron (not Aviation, but the larger corp) for a non-engineering role. The pay is solid, benefits seem decent, but I'm hesitant because I keep seeing chatter about instability or potential cuts. I've scoured this forum and others, and while there are no confirmed large-scale layoffs, there's a lot of 'unease' and talk of 'reorganizations'. Some people mention projects being shelved or teams being downsized quietly. Is anyone currently working there, or has recently left, who can give me a more candid picture of the job security situation? Trying to avoid jumping into another unstable situation. Any insights on long-term prospects or recent hiring freezes would be super helpful before I sign.
