Been working at X for a few years now, and things have felt... off lately. No official announcements, no big all-hands meetings about cuts, but you can feel it. Teams are smaller, people are overworked, and there's this constant undercurrent of anxiety. Heard some chatter about performance reviews being unusually harsh this cycle, and some folks I used to work with on projects suddenly just... gone. No fanfare, just their access revoked. Feels like they're bleeding people out slowly rather than doing a big, clean cut. Anyone else experiencing this? Is it just my department, or is this a wider thing happening across the company?
