Heard Whispers... Anyone Else Feeling Uneasy?

I've been at X for almost 4 years now, on the product marketing team. Lately, the mood has been...off. My skip-level has been in back-to-back meetings, which isn't totally unusual, but it feels different this time. There are fewer company-wide emails, and the usual Friday all-hands felt rushed and weird. I know the economy is still shaky, and honestly, with the way things have been going since the takeover, it wouldn't totally shock me if cuts were coming. Anyone else picking up on weird vibes? Or am I just being paranoid? I need to know I am not the only one thinking this.

Totally feeling it. I'm in engineering, and the documentation updates have basically ground to a halt. That usually means someone's getting ready to pull the plug on a project, or a whole team. Also noticed more people updating their LinkedIn profiles. Best to polish up your resume, just in case.

Honestly, I think you're reading too much into things. Remember last quarter when everyone thought the sky was falling because Elon sent that weird memo about working 'extremely hardcore'? Turned out to be nothing. I bet your skip-level is just dealing with some new feature launch stress. Relax and enjoy the weekend.
