So, I was on the content moderation side, put in about 3 years. While I haven't been 'officially' laid off yet, the writing has been on the wall for a while with team restructuring and budget cuts. I've been quietly updating my resume and dipping my toes into the job market, and man, it's tough out there. Feels like every company is cautious. Has anyone else been through this recently, either here or at other tech giants that went through similar shakeups? What's working for you in terms of networking, tailoring resumes for specific roles, or even just maintaining sanity during the interview process? I'm targeting roles in trust & safety but open to adjacent fields. Any tips or war stories would be appreciated. Feels like I'm starting from scratch.
