Reading about the recent 86 layoffs at UnitedHealth in Arkansas. Modern Healthcare reported it, but I haven't seen any official WARN notices pop up yet, nor a major company-wide statement addressing it directly. It's concerning because while 86 might not seem huge in a company the size of UHG, it's still a significant number of people losing their livelihoods. For those who were directly impacted, or know someone who was, what's the general feeling? Was it a sudden announcement, or were there hints beforehand? I'm trying to get a clearer picture beyond the initial news report. If anyone has direct knowledge or has seen more official documentation, please share. Trying to understand the scope and potential ripple effects of these cuts.

It's definitely tough to hear about layoffs, regardless of the company size. The lack of a formal WARN notice or public statement is a bit unusual, and I can only imagine how unsettling it must be for those affected. Hoping for some clarity soon for everyone involved.
