UnitedHealth Group - Anyone else feel the pressure?

Between the big numbers people were throwing around earlier this year (like that 30-35k figure) and these more recent, smaller but still impactful cuts in places like Arkansas, it feels like there's a lot of underlying instability at UHG. Are others feeling this? Like, is it just me or has the general vibe shifted from growth to cost-cutting? Trying to gauge if this is a company-wide strategy or if certain divisions are being hit harder than others. Any insights from leadership or whispers about future restructuring would be helpful, even if it's just speculation at this point. Feels like we're all kind of waiting for the other shoe to drop.

I'm definitely feeling the same shift. The talk used to be all about expansion and new initiatives, but lately, it's been a lot more about efficiency and streamlining. It makes sense given the economic climate, but it does create a sense of unease. You start to wonder where the next round of cuts might hit and how it will impact day-to-day operations. It's hard to ignore the feeling that things are tightening up across the board, not just in isolated incidents. Wondering if this is a temporary adjustment or a more permanent change in direction for the company.
