Anyone else feeling extra anxious at Visa lately?

I'm in tech (software engineer, 5+ years at Visa) and I can't shake this feeling that something's coming. Maybe it's just the general vibe in the industry, but it feels like everyone's on edge. I keep hearing whispers about 'restructuring' and 'performance reviews' being extra strict this quarter. Anyone else experiencing this, or am I just being paranoid? My team seems safe enough, but who knows what the higher-ups are planning. The last all-hands felt…off.

I definitely get what you mean. I'm in a different department but the same unsettling feeling has been lingering. "Restructuring" is always a scary word. My advice? Update your resume and quietly start looking around. It's always better to be prepared, even if nothing happens. Having options can ease some of the anxiety. Good luck, friend.

Honestly, I think you might be overreacting. There are always rumors swirling around, especially in a company as big as Visa. Performance reviews are ALWAYS strict, that's just the nature of the beast. Unless you have concrete information, try not to let the gossip get to you. Focus on your work and try to stay positive. Stressing out won't change anything.
