Anyone else feeling super uneasy lately?

I'm in product, been at Visa for almost 5 years now, and I can't shake this feeling that something's about to happen. I know there haven't been any official announcements or anything, but the vibes are just off. My manager has been acting weird, super vague in meetings, and I've noticed a couple of people I used to see all the time just... aren't around anymore. Maybe they're on vacation, but it feels different. Anyone else experiencing this? Am I just being paranoid?

Totally get where you're coming from. Uncertainty is a killer. I haven't specifically noticed anything at Visa, but I went through something similar at my last company. The best advice I can give is to start documenting everything you do, especially accomplishments and contributions to key projects. Update your resume and LinkedIn profile. It's better to be prepared than caught off guard. Even if nothing happens, you'll be in a stronger position regardless.

Honestly, you might be reading too much into it. People go on vacation, managers get stressed, that's just corporate life. Unless you have concrete evidence of something actually happening, try not to let paranoia take over. It's easy to create a narrative in your head when things feel off, but sometimes it's just...life. Maybe try talking to a trusted colleague outside of your immediate team for an objective perspective. Could also be a good idea to just take a day or two off and de-stress.
