The 'streamlining' narrative is getting old fast. We all see right through it. It's impossible to maintain any level of quality when you're effectively running on a skeleton crew. Leadership keeps pushing these high-level buzzwords, but they ignore the fact that the actual execution is crumbling under the weight of the work. If they keep burning through the remaining staff like this, there won't be anyone left to hold the ship together. It feels like they're burning the furniture to keep the office warm for one more quarter.
I’m in the same boat. It's demoralizing watching capable colleagues get pushed out while the expectation remains that we’ll somehow fill the gap. There is absolutely no acknowledgment of the reality on the ground. Instead of a strategic pivot, it feels like we are just reacting to panic in the boardroom. It’s hard to stay invested in the long-term vision when the immediate environment feels so unstable. I’ve started looking elsewhere because it’s clear that 'efficiency' is the only thing management cares about right now, regardless of the cost to us.
