Anyone else still reeling from the March 19th cull?

It’s been a few weeks since the March 19th wave hit us, but the office feels like a graveyard. I’m one of the ones who made it through, but honestly, the survivor’s guilt is real. You look around at empty desks and realize that the 'work harder' memo from back in December was just a sick joke to keep us productive before they chopped us anyway. It’s hard to focus on tickets when you’re constantly checking Slack to see who else has been deactivated. The morale is at an all-time low and management’s silence is deafening. Is leadership expecting us to just pivot and double our output with 900 fewer people? Because that’s not happening. I’m spending half my day polishing my resume instead of touching the backlog. If you were part of the 936, I hope you’re doing okay and finding landing spots. This place feels like it’s just running on fumes now.

I felt the exact same way after the cuts. It’s impossible to stay motivated when you realize the leadership’s 'do more with less' strategy was really just a setup for the inevitable. Those empty desks aren't just furniture; they are constant reminders that your tenure here doesn't guarantee your safety. I’ve been keeping my head down and working on my resume during lunch because the trust is completely gone. Don't beat yourself up for having survivor's guilt; it’s a natural response to such a cold, calculated environment.

Honestly, the vibe in the office has been dead for months. It feels like management views us as line items on a spreadsheet rather than actual people who helped build this company. I’m just waiting for the next shoe to drop because at this point, nobody feels secure. I’ve stopped caring about the KPIs and the constant pressure to hit impossible targets. If they want to treat us like replaceable parts, then I’m treating this like a temporary pit stop until I can find somewhere that actually values their employees.
