Post-layoff: How's the morale and workload now?

Okay, so the recent layoffs hit pretty hard for a lot of people. For those of us who are still here, how are things feeling? Is the workload manageable, or are the remaining folks picking up the slack? I'm trying to gauge the general sentiment. Is morale low, or are people just heads-down trying to get through it? I've heard a few whispers about increased expectations and less support, but haven't experienced it directly yet. Curious to hear what others are seeing and feeling on the ground. Trying to stay positive but it's tough when you see so many colleagues impacted.

It's definitely been a tough period. While there's an underlying tension, many of us are focused on adapting. Workload has increased for sure, and you can see people juggling more responsibilities. It's not ideal, but there's a sense of shared experience helping us push through. Leadership communication could be better, but we're trying to stay positive and support each other as much as possible.
