Anyone else feeling blindsided by these WF layoffs?

Just saw the MSN article about the layoffs happening on July 18th. Around X employees, supposedly. This feels really sudden. I thought things were stabilizing, or at least that the worst was behind us after the previous rounds. Now this? It's hard not to feel like a number when this happens so abruptly. Especially if you've been loyal to the company for a while. Makes you wonder what the long-term strategy is, if they're making cuts like this. Anyone who was impacted directly, or knows someone who was, how are you all coping? Trying to stay positive but it's tough.

This is incredibly disheartening to hear. It truly feels like loyalty and dedication are becoming less valued, replaced by cold, hard numbers. The lack of transparency around these decisions is what really stings. One day you think you're secure, the next you're blindsided. It makes planning for the future feel like an exercise in futility when the rug can be pulled out so unexpectedly. Wishing strength to anyone affected by this news.
