WF Layoffs - Any word on specific departments besides Home Lending?

Heard the news about the Home Lending unit getting hit pretty hard. Is anyone else in other parts of Wells Fargo seeing or hearing about layoffs? Trying to get a sense of the broader impact. My team hasn't had any official announcements, but there's definitely a nervous energy. Feels like management is being really tight-lipped, which just makes things worse. Anyone in Corporate, Technology, or Risk roles seeing anything? Just trying to prepare myself mentally and financially if things are more widespread. The news mentioned mortgage, but felt like it could be a precursor. Any intel appreciated.

I'm in Tech and things have been quiet on the official layoff front, but the whispers are definitely there. Performance reviews felt a bit more intense this year, and some project teams have been consolidated. It's hard to say if it's a precursor to bigger cuts or just a normal efficiency drive. The lack of clear communication is fueling the anxiety, for sure. Trying to stay focused on my deliverables but it's tough when the uncertainty hangs heavy.

Haven't heard any direct layoff news in my area (Risk), but there's been a noticeable slowdown in hiring and a lot of open requisitions are just sitting there, unfulfilled. Feels like a hiring freeze in disguise. People are definitely watching their backs and making sure their work is top-notch. It's a tense atmosphere, and the silence from leadership isn't helping anyone feel secure. Hope for clarity soon for everyone impacted.
