Checking in to see if anyone else noticed the change in the package terms for the 8/14 departures compared to what they offered during the last cycle. It feels like they’ve tightened the belt on the benefits significantly. I’ve been crunching the numbers for my own budget, and the COBRA subsidy period seems shorter than what we saw in the past. I’m trying to stay objective, but it feels like they are squeezing us out while the executive team pats themselves on the back for 'market resilience.' I was one of the folks impacted today, and I’m just trying to figure out if there’s any room for negotiation on the equity acceleration. Has anyone managed to get them to budge on the release agreement terms, or is this a 'take it or leave it' situation? I really didn't see this coming after the growth projections they shoved in our faces back in January. Stay safe out there to everyone still inside, because the culture is officially dead.

It is definitely noticeable. I compared my paperwork from the last cycle to what they are pushing now, and the discrepancy in the health coverage duration is glaring. It feels like they are banking on people being too shell-shocked to do the math. They talk a big game about culture and support, but when push comes to shove, the bottom line is clearly the only priority. It is frustrating to see benefits gutted just as the job market is getting tougher for our sector. Keep documenting everything, because it feels like they are cutting corners wherever they possibly can.
