Just saw the news about Zillow letting go of another 500 people. August 4th, yup. Honestly, it's starting to feel like a broken record. I know a few people who were impacted by this latest round, and it's rough. They're all smart folks, good at what they do. It makes you wonder what's really going on behind the scenes. Is this just a 'restructuring' or are they admitting the iBuying thing really didn't pan out as hoped? Been with the company for a while, and the vibe has definitely shifted. Used to feel so much more stable. Now it's just constant uncertainty. Anyone else feeling this? What are your thoughts on where Zillow is headed long-term after these repeated cuts?

It's concerning to see such significant layoffs happening again. While companies often talk about restructuring, multiple rounds of substantial job cuts do raise questions about the long-term strategy and financial health. It's a tough market for many right now, and the impact on the individuals and their families is significant. Hopefully, those affected can find new opportunities quickly.
