Throwaway account for obvious reasons. I've been hearing some whispers through the grapevine about potential upcoming layoffs at Zoom. Not tied to any specific division yet, just a general sense that something might be brewing. It's hard to get solid info, and management is predictably tight-lipped. I know we saw EA do it over a Zoom call, which is pretty grim. Honestly, the uncertainty is the worst part. If there's a RIF on the horizon, I'd rather know so I can start preparing. Has anyone else heard anything, even rumors? Trying to separate noise from actual possibility here. Any intel would be greatly appreciated.

I'm not privy to any official announcements, but I've definitely felt a shift in the general atmosphere lately. There's a lot of nervous energy, and people are speculating pretty openly in the break rooms. It's understandable given the market conditions and how things have played out for other tech companies recently. The lack of clear communication from leadership only adds to the anxiety. Hopefully, whatever decisions are being made, they'll be handled with some level of transparency soon.

Heard similar rumblings myself. It feels like a waiting game, and the silence from above is deafening. It's tough to focus on projects when you're constantly wondering about job security. I've also noticed a lot more people updating their LinkedIn profiles, which is usually a pretty good indicator. Let's hope it's just noise, but it's wise to be prepared for any eventuality. Keeping my ear to the ground and hoping for the best.
