Severance package details – what to expect?

Hypothetically speaking, if Zoom were to do layoffs, does anyone know what the typical severance package looks like? I've heard different things from different people. Is it based on tenure? Does it include continued health insurance? I'm trying to get a sense of what I might be looking at if I were impacted. Any insights would be super helpful. I'm in Marketing, and honestly, things have been quiet on our end recently.

Layoff Report

Just saw a bunch of folks escorted out of HQ...

Okay, so I work in the San Jose office, and I just saw like five people being walked out by security. Didn't look like a fire drill or anything. They were carrying boxes, and looked pretty upset. All from the same floor. Anyone know what's going on? HR is radio silent. I'm in Engineering, and this is making me super anxious. I’ve got a mortgage to pay. Is it time to jump ship before the axe falls on me too?

Anyone else feeling nervous at Zoom lately?

I've been at Zoom for almost 5 years now, on the Sales Enablement team. I know the market's tough right now, and all the big tech companies seem to be doing rounds of layoffs. I keep hearing whispers around the office and seeing people getting pulled into unscheduled meetings. It's probably nothing, but I can't shake this feeling that something's brewing. I'm starting to update my resume just in case. Anyone else feeling this way? Any advice on how to prepare if the worst happens?

Rant

Just had the WORST performance review of my life. Feeling like I'm being managed out.

Okay, I need to vent. I've been at Zoom for 2 years, in a sales role. Up until now, my reviews have been pretty good. Met expectations, exceeded in some areas, the usual. But today? My manager basically told me I'm not performing well enough, my numbers are down (which, okay, fair, the market is tough!), and that I need to "drastically improve" in the next quarter. It felt completely out of the blue. I'm freaking out. It felt very scripted. Is this their way of building a case to let me go without a package? Anyone else experience a sudden, negative shift in their performance reviews? I feel like they're trying to get me to quit so they don't have to pay me out. Absolute garbage.

Severance Package Question - Stock Options

If Zoom *were* to do layoffs, I'm trying to understand the details around stock options. I've been here for 5 years, so I'm mostly vested, but not completely. Does anyone know if they accelerate vesting as part of a severance package? Or do you just lose whatever isn't vested yet? I tried looking through the employee handbook, but it's not super clear. Any insight would be helpful before I start panicking. Has anyone been through a layoff with Zoom previously and can share their experience on stock options?

Anyone else feel like the constant re-orgs are a prelude to layoffs?

Seriously, it feels like every six months they're shuffling teams around. I'm in product, and we just got merged into a completely different department. My manager is acting weird, super non-committal. I've been through this before at another company, and it always ends the same way: 'restructuring' which is code for layoffs. Anyone else feeling the same anxiety? I'm starting to dust off my resume, just in case. I’ve been here for 3 years and honestly love the work…but this instability is killing me.
